Good morning Bears Family!

I hope that this email finds everyone healthy and safe. We received the sad news yesterday evening from NWAL that our 2020 summer swim season has been cancelled. The COVID-19 virus has prompted unprecedented changes in the world and in the world of sports. From the Olympics to summer swim, we are all affected by this pandemic.

As we began planning the season several months ago, not one of us imagined the circumstances that we are currently facing.   For 40 years, we have set up our tents, volunteered, cheered for our kids and enjoyed sharing life together over the summers. The fact that this season is cancelled just means that sharing life will look a little different this summer.  As a board, we will continue to follow CDC and governmental guidelines and try to think of creative ways to bring our Bears family together safely.

If you registered for this season, we will contact you over the next couple of days to issue a refund.
